LET’S TALK LABELS

HOW DO I CREATE MY OWN LABEL DESIGN?

You can design your labels with any program you’d like, so feel free to get creative and show off your unique brand. You can even name the products you’re going to sell. We send you templates to ensure that your labels meet print specs, and you send us the finished designs. It’s that simple.

I ALREADY HAVE A DESIGN. WILL IT FIT THE LABELS?

We’ll send our design templates with guides to make sure that your design will meet print specs, so you can make adjustments as needed. We also have experts here to answer any questions you may have as you go. You’ve got this (and we’ve got you covered just in case).

DOES BLACK BOX PROOFREAD ALL DESIGNS?

Black Box does not proofread/edit client work; we print exactly what’s on your draft. We do, however, send proofs which clients need to approve before labels go to print. If you see an issue, simply let us know and send us a corrected draft.

WHAT IS A VARIATION?

Variations are different versions of the same basic design with only minor differences. Let’s say you have three different flavors of BBQ sauce to sell. If the titles of the sauces are different based on the flavor, but the rest of the label is the same, that’s a variation.

WHAT IS A REVISION?

A revision is a set of changes to a draft based on client feedback. We’re always willing to make revisions because for Black Box, it’s not enough that you are happy with your labels; we want you to love them.
